LabView Course

LabView (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is software designed for engineering systems to perform quality testing, measurement, and control of software development and ongoing operations. It provides the ability to quickly access data from software operations for purposes of improvement, further development, bug detection, and more.

LabView was developed by National Instruments in 1986. The original development of the development environment aimed to simplify the development and integration process among various systems, including third-party systems integrated within it. This approach shifted the focus from extensive code writing and complex development to solving engineering problems.

The goal of LabView developers was for the software to serve as an indispensable tool for engineers, much like Excel is an integral part of financial activities. LabView aims to bridge the gap between engineering applications and hardware integration by creating a visual and user-friendly interface that simplifies control and monitoring. Additionally, LabView can be combined with other software and open-source libraries to further shorten and streamline the development process. After engineers in the industry were exposed to the benefits of using the LabView platform and its effective operation, its usage expanded far beyond the realm of testing and control, becoming actively involved in areas like software architecture and operations.

Who is the LabView course suitable for?

  • Electronics engineers
  • hardware testers with no prior software knowledge
  • developers
  • software testing automation developers
